Summary

The team of Koreans have acclimatized on Island Peak before moving to Annapurna. It is unclear on what date they started the expedition but several sources mention they set their Base Camp on Annapurna south side on October 9. They fixed 180 meters of rope on the October 10.

On October 18, their support crew mentioned the 3 climbers left Base Camp and expected a summit push via a new route on October 21. At 4pm Mr Park contacted Base Camp and said the team stopped at 6.400m and was coming back due to rock fall and heavy snow.

The 3 climbers perished probably in an avalanche.
