Leaving the Reform Club in London with Mike MacKenzie, Robin Dunseath and Caroline Casey, having accepted the challenge to travel around the world using 80 forms of transport.

It is Friday the 13th and Miles, along with three disabled friends are paddling a cardboard boat down the Liffy in Dublin. The biggest difficulty they had overcome was to obtain insurance!

How else would you expect to find Miles and his paraplegic friend, Mike Mackenzie, taking some exercise at the bottom of the Red Sea. Miles had dreamt of this picture many months before and, true to form, the dream became a reality.

The South African Police used Camels as a regular mode of transport until quite recently. Miles and the 80 Ways team included Camels as one of the 'Ways' as they made their way to Cape Town.

Miles loved the noise of the fifty strong convoy of Harley Davidson motorcycles which delivered the 80 Ways team into Cape Town for a lunch appointment with the Mayor.

Caroline, who is registered blind, is the only western woman to be recognised as a Mahout, following her 1000km Journey across Southern India on Canchi, her Elephant.

Miles and Jon in the Lotus lined up for the first blind drivers race on the Sepang Grand Prix circuit in Malaysia. Miles' biggest fear was the thought of being beaten by a blonde, Irish, blind girl!

The Singapore Duck tour was just one of the unusual modes of transport used by Miles and the team as they travelled around the world, Miles was often heard singing the Duck tour song for months after the trip had ended.
Miles at the Hong Kong Jockey Club

Miles, Caroline and Mike were the stars of the show at a family gala day hosted by the Hong Kong Jockey Club. Many events, small and large, were (organised) by the 80 Ways adventure as they journeyed through fifteen countries around the world. This event alone raised over 340,000 for local charities in Hong Kong.
