Death

Park Young-Seok, Shin Dong-Min and Kang Ki-Seok were attempting a new route on the South Face of Annapurna in October 2011. The last contact they gave was on the 18th while going down due to heavy snow. The cause of the accident is probably an avalanche as the rescue found a rope coming out of the snow.

In 2016, the son of Park Young-Seok went to the mountain to attempt finding the three missing mountaineers.
