Although arriving in the 9th of January 2016 in Ecuador, Laura and Cho (Gadiel Sanchez Rivera) waited for a laptop to solar panel adaptor and could only start on the 19th. Cho got hit by a car on the 22nd of March. He was rather safe but the by was badly damaged and needed a week to get repaired. Cho and Laura decided to split and on the 2nd of April Laura continued alone. Ed Stafford joined Laura in Arequipa on the 12th of April. They entered Bolivia on the 30th of April. On May the 6th, Ed got hit by a lorry. Ness knight cycled with Laura for 8 days mid-May until Laura's sister Claire arrived on the 19th. They cycled together until the 12th of June until Laura's older sister Sarah arrived on the 13th. Laura and her Sarah arrived in Buenos Aires on the 1st of July 2016.
