They left on the 1st of July, following the Sagavanirktok river and reached finally the Ocean on the 4th.
Between the 10th and the 14th they went to Barrow to get a Satphone and then finally left for good.
On the 29 of July, they decided to turn back as they had a battery failure that would make charging communications, cameras, scientific and navigations instruments impossible.
They reached land at Prudhoe Bay/Deadhorse on the 12th of August.
