Barnabé Fourgous is a speleology and canyoning guide and a caving rescuer. He is also a scientific team member of the French Caving Federation (topography, biospeleology, karstology). He has done numerous international expeditions from his native Vercors to Papua, from Mexico to New Zealand, from Eastern countries to Chile. In 2009, he explored underground Everest by reaching the bottom of the Voronya Krubera in Abkhazi, the deepest cave in the world (-2180 m).
