Biography

ounded Explorers Connect, now the largest adventure hub in Britain, to assist others in realising their own adventure dreams. Over the last 20years she has worked on hundreds of international expeditions, scientific research and remote filming trips. These include leading her first expedition to China's Desert of Death at age 21, leading over one hundred scientists and young people in the Amazon on an expedition patroned by HRH Duke of York, walking across Nicaragua and Africa. Most recently she skippered the First Women To Row Around Britain, a 52 day non-stop, unsupported mission in a 24ft foot rowing boat. She has directed adventure films including Ray Mears Bushcraft, Coast, Bear Grylls Ultimate Survival, Living With Gorillas and Beyond Boundaries.
