is an award-winning travel writer, photographer, environmental consultant and wild swimmer. His first major adventure was being kidnapped by Free Papua tribesmen in New Guinea in 1996. Returning to safer home ground he went on to author "Wild Swimming", "Hidden Beaches" and "Wild Swimming France" and won the Writers’ Guild Award in 1997. His latest book is the new Wild Guide to Southern England. Dan will share his stories of wild swimming in the UK and some lucky festival go-ers will accompany Dan on a wild swimming journey
